EWI Awarded State of Missouri UST Investigation/Remediation and Assessment Contract
In November 2009, Environmental Works, Inc. (EWI) was awarded an estimated $3.2 million contract by the State of Missouri to provide underground storage tank (UST) investigation, remediation, and assessment services in regard to petroleum products for the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR).

Environmental Works Growth Spurs Move to Larger Office Downtown
EWI plans to complete renovations and relocation to their new, larger headquarters office by the end of this year. The move will mark the firm’s fourth office location since its inception in 1992. Renovations and construction on the new office space located at 1455 E. Chestnut Expressway are rapidly progressing.
Environmental Works Renovates New Headquarters
Renovations are under way for Environmental Works Inc.’s new home base. Owner Robin Melton bought the former Sara Lee Corp. spice plant at 1455 E. Chestnut Expressway in July and plans to move in by August.
Robin Melton Appointed to Watershed Committee of the Ozarks Board
Robin Melton, Owner and President of Environmental Works, Inc., has been selected by Springfield City Manager Bob Cumley to serve on the Watershed Committee of the Ozarks Board for a three year term.

Environmental Works Funds Springfield Public Schools Environmental Education Grant
EWI sponsored the Raising the Bar on Environmental Awareness grant through the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools. The funds donated will impact 125 seventh grade life science students at Cherokee Middle School who will embark on 3 field trips to explore and learn about environmental issues in Springfield, MO.
Suzan Gonder Receives Railroad Silver Spike Award for Outstanding Performance
