Suzan Gonder Receives Railroad Silver Spike Award for Outstanding Performance

SPRINGFIELD, MO – Suzan Gonder, Principal Scientist and Division Manager of Railroad Services at Environmental Works, Inc., was presented with the 2007 Silver Spike Award for Outstanding Performance by BNSF Railway Company during the company’s annual Remediation Staff Meeting on June 12, 2007 in San Diego, CA. 

Gonder was given the award in recognition for her and EWI’s high quality work and long-standing trust with BNSF Railway Company. EWI has provided environmental services to BNSF since its establishment in 1992. Gonder has worked with BNSF for 9 years during her tenure with EWI and is the primary client contact at the firm.

During this time, Gonder has worked closely with Jennifer Hurley, Assistant Manager Environmental Remediation on many projects. “EWI is a long-time partner of our company and has always provided very professional and personalized customer service. Their expertise and negotiation skill with complex environmental regulations has really made a big difference for me. Most important, we trust each other,” said Hurley.
