We Employ the Brightest Minds in Environmental Consulting and Industrial Services.
Environmental Works is a rapidly growing full-service environmental consulting and contracting firm. Since our inception, EWI has attracted exceptional, driven people with a passion for problem-solving and results. Located in both Springfield and Kansas City, Missouri, we also have offices in St. Louis, Memphis, Tulsa, Denver, Northwest Arkansas, and Sauget and Decatur, Illinois. Our reach extends to clients, projects, and work sites across the U.S. and Canada.
What We’re Looking For
Top candidates are well-rounded and able to demonstrate these necessary skills to excel at EWI:
- Ability to work autonomously, take responsibility and be held accountable for results
- Ability to use common sense
- Ability to speak open and honestly
- Ability to work in both an office and field environment
- Desire to work hard and GSD!
Our people are given a great deal of authority and autonomy and are expected to take responsibility and be held accountable for results. Our people take results personally. GSD!
Hierarchy is not imposed, but earned. The work is the Boss. Common sense and simplicity are usually better guidelines than unnecessary processes and complexity.
There are no hidden agendas. Our people can express their opinions openly without peer pressure and political concerns. Fact based discussions and a clear notion of where our people stand in the company is the rule and not the exception.
We share our results with all levels of the company. We create a culture of TRUST where our people can go to conflict openly and expect to achieve a fair resolution. We do not participate in Triangulation.
The best people are recognized and rewarded and the worst are dealt with honestly, first by being coached to improve, but ultimately by being replaced. The best people deserve to be surrounded by the best. The best performers will be compensated disproportionately.
