Anthony Moore


Mr. Moore has over eight years of professional experience in the environmental consulting industry.  Areas of experience include site investigation and characterization, environmental remediation, risk assessments, UST and construction project management, and emergency response.  Additional experience includes the preparation of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans, and the generation of hazardous material plans for a major retailer.


Manages daily remedial activities at a CERCLA Superfund Site in southwest Missouri.  Remedial activities are focused on the timely cleanup of a fractured bedrock aquifer and the area’s primary drinking water aquifer.  Remediation activities performed at the site include in-situ soil mixing of 2,500 cubic yards of impacted soil with a strong oxidant.

Manages investigation and characterization activities for VCP site in Missouri impacted with both aqueous phase and non-aqueous phase chlorinated organics in fractured and karstic aquifer.  Activities conducted at the site include passive soil gas survey, electrical resistivity geophysical survey, direct push drilling and sampling activities, bedrock drilling and monitoring well installation, and down-well videography.

Managed an Investigation and Remediation project for a Major Rail Carrier under MDNR’s Voluntary Cleanup Program.  Project involved a large-scale excavation of soil impacted by arsenic, cadmium, lead, and benzo(a)pyrene, soil sampling, clearance of site debris, removal of 150 feet of railroad track/ties, excavation backfilling, and final site restoration activities.

Manages large-scale chemical relocation project for a DOE facility including packaging and manifesting per DOT requirements.

Manages multiple UST investigation / remediation sites in Missouri which involve soil and groundwater sampling, active soil gas sampling, and operation of a free product recovery system.

Prepared hazardous materials plans for a major retailer.  These plans are required by fire departments and include a response plan, safe handling practices, hazardous materials inventory statement, and an employee training program.

Prepared SPCC plans for bulk petroleum facilities.  Tasks performed included inspection of each facility, coordinating with the project engineer, and writing the SPCC Plan according to the regulations.

Experience with emergency response scenarios involving train derailments and petroleum tanker truck spills.  Mr. Moore has acted as both a project manager and a team member for these incidents.  Responsibilities included  completion of health and safety plans, coordination with regulatory agencies, installation of remedial measures, and site restoration.
