SP001 Scope

SP001 applies to the inspection of aboveground storage tanks. These storage tanks include shop- fabricated tanks, field erected tanks and portable containers as defined in this standard, as well as their containment systems.

This standard applies to AST’s storing stable, flammable, and combustible liquids at atmospheric pressure and 200 degrees F.
